Calling all students studying - or simply passionate about - design.

Are you curious about how design thinking shapes careers in design? 🎨
Then this event is for you!

Join us for an inspiring evening where you’ll get insider perspectives on two very different ways of working with design thinking - in a large, established company and in a fast-moving small business.

Design thinking will be the core of the conversation, branching out into related topics such as service design, UX/UI, research, rapid testing & prototyping, and user-centric decision making across different fields.

We’re bringing in Michael McKay, Vice President for Digital Products at Novo Nordisk, who applies strategic design thinking at scale - tackling complex challenges, creating user-centred solutions, and driving innovation in projects that impact thousands (or even millions) of users.

Alongside him, you’ll hear from Kathrine Fremming, Head of Culture and Brand Innovation at Khora, a Copenhagen-based VR/AR company founded in 2015 and built from the ground up. Today the team counts around 25 people and creates award-winning virtual and augmented reality experiences across industries. Kathrine will share how design thinking drives their creative process in a fast-growing, hands-on environment.

They’ll each share their journey - the challenges they’ve faced, the creative processes they follow, and what it’s really like to work with design thinking in two very different contexts.

Last but not least, you will hear a brief talk from Oscar, a digital design student at ITU and the lead designer in Cheap.Voyage, an early-stage startup in ITU NextGen.

After their talks, we’ll have a Q&A session, moderated by Oscar, where you can ask your burning questions about careers in design, industry trends, and how to apply design thinking in your own work.

Whether you’re aiming for a role in a global organisation or dreaming of launching your own business, this event is a great opportunity to gain valuable insights and get inspired for your future in design.

Snacks, sodas and a light meal will be served.
