Are you a new international student at ITU — or just curious to meet new people from across study programs? Join this fun and social two-day case competition to make friends, share experiences, and get to know Danish student life in a welcoming atmosphere.
What to expect?
Over one weekend, you'll work in teams to explore the challenges of arriving in Denmark and studying at ITU. Together, you’ll transform your biggest “WTF moments” into creative ideas and explore what it means to turn challenges into opportunities.
We recognise that starting a journey in a new country and at a new university can feel overwhelming. That’s why this event is also a chance to connect with others who might share the same challenges and concerns as you, and to pause, share, and get a sense of belonging.
Come as you are! No special skills or experience needed — just curiosity and an open mind. It’s all about the process, having fun, and learning together. Plus, it’s completely free, with meals, snacks, and goodie bags included.
You’ll also meet current ITU NextGen students on Saturday evening, where we’ll enjoy some casual food and social hang out — nothing fancy, just a nice chance to connect.
What’s a case competition?
You work in a team to identify a real problem and develop a creative solution. Here, the focus isn’t on a perfect outcome but on teamwork, new ideas, and enjoying the journey.
